Manimau Studios

Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Authenticator – 2FA & Password Manager.

Effective: August 1, 2026Last updated: August 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using Authenticator – 2FA & Password Manager, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Use of the App

Manimau Studios grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to Apple’s rules and these Terms.

You may not misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it except where permitted by law, or use it for unlawful activity.

3. Your Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for protecting your device, device passcode, Apple Account, authentication secrets, passwords, recovery codes, and account access.

You should keep independent recovery methods and verify that imported or entered account information is correct. Manimau Studios may not be able to recover information stored only on your device.

4. Authentication and Password Features

The App may generate TOTP, OTP, or other verification codes, store passwords and recovery codes, generate passwords, and provide password-strength or Password Health information.

These features are provided as security tools, but they do not guarantee that an account, password, or device will remain secure. Verification-code acceptance depends on third-party services and correct device settings.

5. Imports, Exports, and Compatibility

Imported data may be incomplete, duplicated, unsupported, or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing imported information before relying on it.

References to Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Apple, or other services describe compatibility only and do not imply sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

Some features may require an in-app purchase or auto-renewable subscription through Apple.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may depend on Apple services, breach-checking services, websites, and account providers operated by third parties. Manimau Studios does not control and is not responsible for third-party outages, account restrictions, policy changes, security incidents, or data loss.

8. Availability and Changes

Manimau Studios may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal, technical, or business reasons. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or compatible with every device or service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, compatibility, security, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manimau Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, credentials, account access, revenue, or business opportunity.

Manimau Studios’ total liability relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App during the 12 months before the claim, except where a different limit is required by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. Manimau Studios may suspend or end access to features it controls if you seriously violate these Terms, misuse the App, or create legal or security risks.

Ending use of the App does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

12. Apple-Specific Terms

These Terms are between you and Manimau Studios, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for operating or supporting the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them where applicable.

13. Changes to These Terms

Manimau Studios may update these Terms when the App, legal requirements, or business practices change. The updated version will be posted with a revised date.

14. General Terms

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

Important: The App is a security tool, but you remain responsible for maintaining safe recovery methods and protecting access to your accounts and device.
